These Terms of Service (hereinafter, the “Agreement”) govern your use of the website and associated services provided by Dr. Scott Harrison (hereinafter, “Dr. Scott Harrison,” “we,” or “us”). By accessing or using this website and/or engaging our services, you (hereinafter, “Client” or “you”) agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth herein. Should you disagree with any provision of this Agreement, you must refrain from using our website and services.
1. Services Provided
Dr. Scott Harrison offers the following services, as further detailed in individual contracts executed with clients:
Research: Provision of focused historical and policy analysis, curriculum design, workshops, and lectures on East Asian, Indigenous, and transnational histories and policies.
Culture: Facilitate intercultural understanding through cultural training, interdisciplinary dialogue, multi-sector partnerships, and program advisory services.
Leadership: Delivery of academic mentorship, performance coaching, inclusive teaching, and sport-informed wellness strategies to empower individuals and teams.
Strategy: Executing policy analysis, strategic planning, and business development initiatives grounded in historical insights and cross-cultural expertise.
All deliverables shall be produced in accordance with the project scope mutually agreed upon in the respective contract.
2. User Responsibilities
Clients agree to provide accurate, complete, and timely information and materials necessary for the effective execution of the project. Clients are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials provided and for all activities undertaken under their project account. Inaccuracies or omissions in the information provided may adversely affect the outcomes of the services rendered.
3. Payments
Payments for services shall be rendered in accordance with the specific terms outlined in the applicable contract. All fees are non-refundable except as otherwise explicitly provided in the relevant contractual agreement. Projects may be delayed in the event of late payments, and additional fees may be imposed at our discretion.
4. Intellectual Property
Ownership of Deliverables: Upon receipt of full payment, ownership rights to the deliverables shall transfer to the Client.
Showcasing Rights: Notwithstanding the foregoing, Dr. Scott Harrison reserves the right to include the project in portfolios, marketing materials, or other promotional activities unless expressly waived in writing by the Client.
5. Prohibited Activities
Clients shall not, under any circumstances, engage in any activity that:
Uses our services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
Copies, modifications, or distributes any of Dr. Scott Harrison’s intellectual property without obtaining prior written consent.
6. Disclaimer and Limitations
Disclaimer: The content and services provided through this website are intended for informational and educational purposes only. Dr. Scott Harrison does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information provided, and the use of such information is at the Client’s sole risk.
Limitation of Liability: Under no circumstances shall Dr. Scott Harrison be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the services, including but not limited to any damages resulting from Client misuse or third-party interference with the deliverables.
7. Termination and Suspension
Dr. Scott Harrison reserves the right to terminate or suspend access to services, in whole or in part, without prior notice in the event of:
A breach of any term of this Agreement by the Client.
Extended periods of inactivity.
Non-payment or delayed payment as stipulated in the contractual agreement.
Termination of services shall not absolve the Client of any outstanding payment obligations incurred prior to the effective date of termination. Upon termination, all rights granted to the Client under this Agreement shall immediately cease.
8. Amendments
Dr. Scott Harrison may, from time to time, amend these Terms of Service. Any such modifications will be effective upon posting the updated terms on the website. Continued use of the website and services following such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes arising from or relating to this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Client and Dr. Scott Harrison with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications, whether electronic, oral, or written. Should any provision of this Agreement be deemed invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
